Eklectiks likes to keep its pulse on authors who have the fortitude and determination to offer their readers alternative viewpoints on subjects making the mainstream. We are happy to discuss with authors placement of their books. Prior to that, we suggest that authors become acquainted with the titles we currently carry to ensure their book would be a good fit.

Some things to keep in mind concerning book placement:

·	A copy of the book should either be mailed or dropped off for review. Please allow up to two weeks for review completion.

·	While Eklectiks would prefer to work with a distributor, we are open to working directly with the author—especially a local author. When working directly with the author, we ask that an invoice accompany the books stating the agreed upon terms (i.e., Net 30, Consignment, Wholesale).

Eklectiks offers the standard 60/40 split (60 percent author; 40 percent Eklectiks). In some instances, different percentages may be negotiated. On consignment materials, Eklectiks mails proceeds from sold books once a month (the date will be agreed upon between author and Eklectiks). Proceeds can also be paid out through PayPal.
